When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the
keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly
to unlock the driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'it's open!' His reply: 'I know, I already got
that side.   '   
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton , MS

We had to have the garage door repaired.
The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4.
He said, 'NO, it's not.' Four is larger than two.'
We haven't used Sears repair since.   

IDIOT SIGHTING   
My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill.
Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.' I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back.
She sighed and went to get the manager, who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said 'We're sorry but we could not do that kind of thing.'
The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change.
Do not confuse the clerks at McD's.

I was crossing with an intellectually challenged co-worker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for.
I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.

Thought i give a shout out to Scripp's Ranch Player Matt Rudick. My son is assisting there as the hitting and pitching coach as well as assistant head coach on JV , I've been following their program and they are very competitive in their section.

They split with Cathedral Catholic this past week as well as having two run bottom of the 7th win over St. Augustine at Petco Park with a walk off two out single to score the winning run. Exciting Games, if you look close at :05 seconds from end you can see my son near home plate near # 30 celebrating the close victory.

Overwhelmed with all that I must do in preparations form my Mom's celebration of life memorial we are attempting to facilitate, I have zero experience at this process and am trying my best not to foul it up.

Can anyone advise me of what a good catering service should cost for service of approximately 60-80 people with just a drop off type service?

Catering services through a local restaurant preferably Mexican style Cuisine or Italian ....

Any help or ideas or referrals would be greatly appreciated....Thank You... K

At 5:08 pm on January 16th. I witnessed my Mother pass away, for two long months she endured much pain leading up to her final breath , Because she fell unconscious during the early morning hours I was unable to tell her one final time how much I loved her, please everyone tell your children,your parents, your loved ones every single chance you have just how much you love them because it means the world to them. My mom was the most unselfish person I ever known , always sacrificed for others before and if ever considering herself . I love you mom and I miss you until we meet again, GOD SHOW HER YOUR GLORY NOW , You have her with You!

My Mom was a simple woman of faith , she raised two kids by herself since I was the age of 5, my father left us with my mom and my 1 month old sister and no income, she worked two and three jobs to put a roof over our heads and food on the table , often times she went without so we had something, she was the sacrifice , Lately many of her neighbors have came to witness of her love for her grand kids and just how special they were to her. I called the fire dept. to thank the EMT's whom responded to her call for help they told me her vital signs were 92 over 35 BP and even still the whole ride to Visalia to the ER she was bragging about her grand kids, they were her life.... I love you Mom and you will never be forgotten but only honored....

If any one is interested in helping a cousin of mine who knew my moms financial circumstances has started the below campaign as we only just discovered she only had a term policy which just adjusted downward at her turning age 75 to $1500 , she I guess was secretive and not able to afford much.... They are Hypocritical with regards to their enforcement, Ticketed for tinted windows today, which by law I understand is correct, but many many times we have set at a traffic light side by side with a local police officer performing his or her duty in their cruiser with never even a second look, but today my wife gets pulled over and receives a fix it ticket and so after hearing her explanation I did an investigation only to find the very same ticketing officer's own personal car has darker tint on his side windows then does ours.... Imagine that BS....

Just happened to me while raking the leaves in my front yard, almost didn't happen too!

I was debating hiring a neighborhood kid to rake my leaves when I decided I might as well do it myself. Well I am glad I did because about 5 mins in to raking my leaves I looked down after clearing a huge layer of leaves and low and behold I see a red wallet upside down so I picked it up and it was soaking wet and bulging with cash! Over $500 worth of cash stained in red . So I called the local police and about 30 mins later an officer shows up and says no that's not red dye from the bank but red dye from the cheap fake leather wallet. Now there was a Lowes Rewards card and a ID from Mexico but no California ID , the police officer proceeds to bag the wallet and leave and so I ask aren't you going to fill out a report and he says no and that instead we will just try to call him (the OWNER) > Now how is that going to happen I asked myself with only an ID from Mexico ? I asked what just happened here ? Good thing is I got pictures of all of it . and I question how did this cash filled wallet get in the middle of my yard which is a good 15 feet from the sidewalk or the street in front of my house.... 

No one wants to see someone loose this amount of cash especially during this Christmas season so my hope is that the rightful owner is rejoined with his bounty!
