If this was one of my kids getting attacked...I probably would be escorted off the field.  On the other hand, I am a firm believer kids are this severe only because it's encouraged.

September 23, 2016, 05:11:31 PM
Do you have to put 5 guys on the front line on KOR?

I know someone in here will have a quick answer for me?  I am trying to find it in the rule book right now.

Central Section Football / Jersey Question
April 20, 2016, 09:48:36 AM
Ok, because I know someone in here will know the "RULE".  I am not looking for everyone that is breaking the rule....just what the rule is.

Can you have light Gray as your away jersey's main color?

Central Section Football / Sled
January 29, 2016, 07:51:20 AM
Hey guys

I am looking for a 5 man sled that is no longer being used.  This could be one out in the back 40 that hasn't seen the thump of pad work in a while.  I have a someone that can work wonders.  It doesn't have to have pads on it.  Just looking for the sled part.  If you know of anything PM me.

Thanks

Central Section Football / where will everyone be
December 10, 2015, 10:41:21 AM
I know we have teams all over the state this weekend.  Where will everyone be going?  I will more than likely be at RVHS on Friday.  I really want to go to Liberty...but my mom would kill me if I skipped out on our Christmas party for her side of the family.  So I will be rooting through Twitter.

Can you believe the crap that is happening over there?  I would like to thank them for doing what all the other liberal learning centers have been afraid to do but now can do it freely....that being....bow to mob rule.

Now they are going to use the campus police to be speech police.

Off Topic / The battle of biblical teaching is now here
October 15, 2014, 08:02:46 AM
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/10/14/city-houston-demands-pastors-turn-over-sermons/

I read this today and I thought about the many conversations we have had on this site about where this fight was going to go.  Well it is here, preaching from the bible is now hate speech.  This is where I knew it had to go, it is the only way that the LGBA and the secularist can ever silence biblical teaching.  They have to label it as hate speech.  This is going to get huge unless we battle it.  How long till it gets to California, a state that in many places is probably waiting to see how this plays out in Houston.

I am very proud Coach today.  BCHS's Grant Bouma verbally committed to Texas Tech last night. It was a big decision for Grant, it's huge deal for him and his family, and a great thing for BCHS football.  I Now have to get some Red Raider gear.

I was wondering if anyone knew the rule about reporting eligible with a Oline number.  Can that player catch a pass?  I know the rule in college and pros but does anyone know if that rule is usable in high school?

So here is the situation

number 57 goes in and plays TE and reports eligible.  Can we then just keep him in that spot the whole time, having him report eligible every play, using him as a regular TE.

I just found out that the idea of putting all the Championships in one venue has failed.....

Central Section Football / Jerseys
March 06, 2013, 09:50:06 AM
Hey Guys

i wanted to ask some of you about the different Jersey makers.  I have always used Russel, they just are quality in my opinion and one of the best for longevity.

I may not be able to go with them this year.  I may have to go with Nike or Under Armor.  I don't know much about these jerseys makers.  Other than the name.  My biggest concern is longevity.  What will the jersey look like in 7 years when it is going through the freshman team.  Any input would be great.

Hey Everyone

I am excited to announce that we are going to have a Zone camp at BCHS.  The camp will run 3 days, which will include 4 padded practices.  The camp is for those that want to learn or work on the zone scheme in their offense.  We will have the BC offensive coaching staff there to give not only individual time during practices, but also a clinic after each practice for your coaches.  We also will allow your Jr level coaches to be at practice and accompany your staff to the clinics after practice.  All scrimmages will be thud (in fact we will only be in shells (shoulder pads/Helmets) for the camp) so quick whistles and no one goes to the ground.  We want to provide a great learning environment for you and your staff to work on the zone scheme and walk out with a better understanding of the concepts and how to implement them.  PM me if you would like more information or call me 661-247-9115 (Coach Pierucci)

The camp info
date:         June 28-30
Location:   Bakersfield Christian High School
Price:        70.00 per player (that includes equipment rental)

It looks like the CIF is going to push through this stupid idea about making all valley championships at bulldog stadium.  I know that the SSL will vote heck no....and I know most if not all of the south valley coaches will vote no.  But I have this sneaky feeling that it's not about  "the college bowl game feel", or "giving the kids a experience"  It's about money....period.

The fact that this years D4 final was between two south valley teams, that were 15-20 minutes apart, makes this idea flat STUPID.  Why would I travel 2 hours for a game that I could play 20 minutes away.  I know that this is not a every year thing, but to think that it could happen and God willing happen again, means that this whole idea is not a good fit for this valley.  I hope that most coaches would vote no on this.  Having a valley championship at home, is a big deal not only for the school but for the city.  Ask Wasco.....that town shut down and came out in droves.
