As someone who has dealt with his father being an addict my entire life this is sad. The text message leaked from his dad are even more so. People may criticize his family for giving up on him but there becomes a point where you can only help someone when they want it. Hopefully he can turn his life around & use these times in a positive way to help others.

Johnny is simply an A-Hole....all the addict stuff is just another excuse, and it certainly appears that people have been making excuses for him for quite a long time now.  Behavior that we can sort of excuse from an adolescent becomes un-excusable in an adult, we expect maturity at a certain point in time.  Johnny is in love with himself and feels he can do whatever he wants, when he wants, give everyone the middle finger in the process and get away with it. Now that tude of his has carried over into assaulting women.  F him IMO.  Throw his ass in the klink for a couple of years.  Probably the best thing society could do for him. And if his family, who has tried to straighten him out, has had enough of him then maybe everyone else should take the hint about him as well....you can love someone but be realistic about who and what they are.
