Coach Gutierrez

If I'm correct. He was the former OC at Edison and CN, and QB coach at FCC.

you are correct.....except he was OC at FCC, not QB coach :)

Why leave OC at FCC to be HC at Roosevelt?  What does he teach?

It's a stepping stone. Just like all the other splashes that got hired there, 1-2 years and off to the better school.

Congrats to Coach Branstetter. A great coach and motivator of young men; I have no doubt that he will do an amazing job at Roosevelt.

Jim Obrien is the new "old" HC at Fowler.

What about Hoover? I heard they have a good QB right now and Coach Nast did a good job with the program being interim late in the season

Fresnofbfan

Yes, I agree tough situation I went to a few games I thought he did well no better or worse than the last coaches. He has great energy. Hoover needs consistency I feel he would be a great choice. Good for Fresno and Hoover.

Coach Clements

Redwood Rangers: 1973, 1982, 1983, 1996 D1 Central Section Champions

Does anyone know who was interviewed for the Golden Valley Job? Any updates on Tranqullity opening? I'm a young coach looking for an opportunity

Did you contact Sierra HS? I think they are still in their search process. There were some interviews last week but they may be open to talking to more candidates. It would definitely be a challenge for a young, energetic, charismatic, HIGHLY ORGANIZED and ADAPTABLE coach to take on.

fair enough! not very surprised that mainly position coaches have applied......nothing against Mclane but dont know a whole lot of current head coaches wanting to jump ship for Mclane.  just my opinion

I think McLane is basically Roosevelt without the support.  There is no difference between the two schools as far as student population goes but I remember a few years back when Roosevelt poured all that money into the program and ran a national search...

Any word on Hoover head coach? Buddy told me they are starting 2nd rounds soon.
