Congrats Willie!!! Great kid, Great personality. I had the priviledge of having him play on my AAU team for basketball. I know that when we talked last week he has a couple options football wise at 4yr schools (as well as quite a bit of interest on the hardwood as well). He needs to finish up strong in the classroom and if it doesn't work out he will go the JC route.

Wish him the best of luck.

Definately deserves a Congrats!  But might I be the jackass in the room?  Would this have been possible if he didn't have the gawdy stats for basketball by playing such a weak schedule? TU had 16 wins this season vs D3-4 competition.  He is definately a great athlete and a pretty good basketball player but numbers are inflated due to weak schedule Coach Hatton likes to play!

When you are forced into a 9 team EYL with D3-D5 competition and have to play those teams TWICE a year......thank the CIF for coming to their senses and fixing the EYL for 2012-2014.......

No, but you're the only one that keeps staring at it.

I would really like a degreed psychologist to chime in on this one.  THe fact that CW felt the need to even COMMENT on it, says quite a bit about his sexuality and confusion.  Freud would be signing him up as the poster boy right now.

Wasnt bagging on the kid just asking a question.  Diesel there are still opportunities to play a tougher schedule outside of the league...ie tournaments and home/away contracts set up.  They still went 8-1 vs D3-4 teams outside of league.  They could have scheduled the HIT like Mission Oak did, or Clovis Elks, Clovis East Invitional like other D2 schools did.  I'm just saying that a lot easier to put up huge numbers vs lower division teams that arent loaded with talent or size or even top line coaching for that matter.  Whether you want to admit it or not it makes a big difference!  To be honest I believe that it hurt them in Valley games both years, because they werent prepared to play at that level due to extremely weak schedule.  Without Vernon having a phenomenal game, its not even as close as it finished.  No doubt they had the talent...but that is why you play tough schedules to prepare you for those games.  But like a said in first post Definately deserves a congrats!  Some of you guys shouldnt get so butt hurt over stuff!  They did manage to play vs a D1 team in Central in 2nd game of season but thats due to a tournament that nobody expected Central to be apart of in Hanford.

Nobody's butt hurt......you stated Hatton likes to play a weak schedule.  I only pointed out that he's been forced to play 16 games per season in the EYL with nine teams.

Saw the kid walking around BC with some coaches and his family for a little visit.. Pretty sure he's deciding between some JC's from what I've heard.
