1  Everything Else / College and Pros / 1st College Football Playoff Rankings on: October 28, 2014, 06:56:41 PM
Top 10
1. Mississippi State 7-0
2. Florida State 7-0
3. Auburn 6-1
4. Ole Miss 7-1
5. Oregon 7-1
6. Alabama 7-1
7. TCU 6-1
8. Michigan State 7-1
9. Kansas State 6-1
10. Notre Dame 6-1
#1 & #2 are an easy choice since they're both undefeated. It's everything else that's interesting to me. 3 SEC teams in the top 4 is a joke. Notre Dame at #10 is a joke. They should be ranked higher with their only loss being by one possession at Florida State. I'm just hoping all the SEC West schools beat each other & then lose to a 2 or 3 loss SEC East team in the conference championship game. I'd love to see a one loss Utah team run the table, win the PAC 12 & beat Oregon twice along the way.

Previous No. 25 Windsor
Clayton Valley is coached by Tim Murphy. I believe they were one win away from a State Bowl game last year.
3  Everything Else / College and Pros / Re: Fresno State tradition on: October 27, 2014, 04:54:03 PM
Well they got their do over. Start a Freshman QB for the rest of the season, getting better for next year.
You kind of have to wonder if he would have been starting from the beginning if he wasn't injured.
4  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: week 9 Scores...POST EM !!!! on: October 24, 2014, 08:06:14 PM
CW 14 CE 0
5  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: TRAC predictions 8 on: October 24, 2014, 07:32:59 PM
CW could lose tonight.... Darian Owens is benched again and Tristan Edwards was dismissed from the team.
The boys have ZERO respect and dont trust Coach P.
CW had no safety that has practiced the position, and no back up RB. CE passes and pounds CW's RB it could get interesting. ....
Disappointing that those two players can't seem to get things together. They'd really improve things on the offense & defense.
6  Central Section / JV and Youth Football / Re: Frosh Scores 10/23. on: October 24, 2014, 07:27:49 PM
Clovis West 56 Clovis East 6
They're now 8-0.
7  Central Section / JV and Youth Football / Re: JV Scores on: October 24, 2014, 07:27:19 PM
Clovis West 56 Clovis East 0
They're now 7-1. With the success that the lower level teams are having & the talent in the junior class you'd think CW could come back up the next few years. Hopefully is not that coaching at the variety level that's the issue.
8  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: TRAC predictions 8 on: October 22, 2014, 06:59:03 PM
Yes.

Not 100% sure, but I've heard it's a bus schedule thing?

That or is it a stadium thing since 5 schools share two stadiums.

Awesome job Glenn! I might just go to one of the last 3 CVC games.

Are all of Central's TRAC road games on Thursday nights? Some said they were. If that's true what's the deal with that?
11  Everything Else / College and Pros / Re: Florida State vs. Norte Dame on: October 20, 2014, 07:16:14 PM
Best game Ive seen in a while.  Even made the ole lady watch and she enjoyed it, that's how I know it was good.   Smile  Weak penalty.   Both players engaged.  DB was jamming and happy about it.  Didn't like the call.  Bowl game atmosphere.
National Championship atmosphere. Notre Dame is better now than they were when they lost to Alabama in the championship game. In my opinion they should be considered for one of the four "playoff" spots. The other 3 should be Florida State, Mississippi State & Mississippi. As much as I hate the SEC I know they'll get two teams in. Whoever wins the SEC if it's a team from the West & the second place team from the SEC division. Oregon is overrated. Ucla unfortunately seems to have been very overrated as well. I'd love to see at least 8 teams in the FBS playoffs. Make it 20 like they do in the FCS.

13  Everything Else / College and Pros / Re: Florida State vs. Norte Dame on: October 19, 2014, 10:06:41 PM
One of the best college football games in a while. Not a fan of the penalty call.
14  Everything Else / College and Pros / Re: Fresno State tradition on: October 18, 2014, 08:37:51 AM
Well the Dogs are 3-5 with Wyoming, Nevada, San Jose State, and Hawaii left to play.....my question is can they even get to 500 this year and take 3 of these last 4....can they run the rest of the table....none of these teams looks to be a cake walk.
6-6 is pushing it with the loss being against Nevada. I say 5-7 is reasonable with another loss against San Jose State.

What the hell are these uniforms? Lose to UNLV and then get similar uniforms. Watching them play without Pat Hill's recruits and their traditional uniforms is painful.
Welcome to college football in the new millennium. Get over it.
