Hey Pitboy, why don't you really tell us how you feel....ha ha.  I didn't see anything biased with his article.  BJ Kelly was the most prominent player out there.  STATS DON'T LIE!!!   I feel that if a CN player or any other player that had stats like that, they would have had publishing time too.  Dude you must have beef with Gomez, BBC, Passing Down, or anyone associated with them.  You got issues.  Calm down.  The football season will start soon enough....ha ha.

BJ Kelley with the fastest 40. Great job. No Bakersfield teams out there unfortunately?

Fred Wilson was impressive, but combines don't give him justice...with his long arms and quickness, he is is great in coverage...and he puts those good hands to use on offense as well...but Wilson did have one of the best broad jumps

I can tell you Brock (Orange Shirt in Front) and Winston (Red Shirt with the 'W' in Front) are both going to be Seniors this year.

They are all still playing high school football. A lot of kids who wouldve put up rediculous numbers didn't participate in Passing Down this year, probably because they already have offers. Kendall Brock and Robert Johnson would've destroyed those bench numbers. Bigelow, even with his knee, wouldve ran somewhere in the 4.35 range in the 40. I've seen him race BJ Kelley (4.43) a couple times this summer and consistently beats him by a few body lengths. The 2011 class of athletes is very very special in the valley, we are all lucky in that we get to watch these guys play. I bet we have 25+ guys that will play college football.

No I'm not talking about the guys in the picture. I'm talking about the players at this camp.

Well yea I was asking because I'm going to be a senior this year. I can destroy those bench numbers and I don't really consider myself that strong compared to the rest of the valley. I'm not even the strongest kid on my team.

illinjoe, I really believe that the Central Valley has many good players.  But I am hard pressed to name 25 players that will play college football at the next level (and by the next level, do you mean D1 or any type of college i.e. JC, D2, D3, or any other division).  I will start with the players that I do know that have given verbals:
1. Cody Kessler            Centennial                      USC
2. Dillon Root               Redwood                       Fresno St

Feel free to add on to this list.

Generally speaking the reference "next level" means anything after high school football. This would be JC or NAIA or DIV II or DIV I or wherever they decide to play. Just my observation on what I believe coaches mean when they say the "NEXT LEVEL"     Thumbs Up
25 is a lot - I agree with you Jeraf that it sounds like more than would play DIV I - but if you look at the article with all those kids on it from the valley there is quite a crop of studs who will go on to the "NEXT LEVEL" (as identified as some level of college football)   Wink
