It doesn't sound like it's a done deal. This will have major effects in all sports. There's one that us Fresno State baseball fans would really like, a renewed rivalry with Rice. I am already looking forward to this.

The news this morning made it sound like a done deal.  2 Divisions, winners of each division play each other for the Championship.  Nice move.

They should basically just call this conference the "Big East Rejects".

While true, they may end up better off than them. The common opinion is the Big East will lose AQ status after the next 2 years

The rejects will be in a healthy conference with no payouts....Boise and SDSU will be in a split conference, and tons of $ down the tube.

If Fresno was offered they need to take it.....but in a few years? Not getting that offer might be a blessing

agree, agree. Dont know if i like the way they are deciding the Football conference championship. With the 2 round playoff....
