69 is a harmless Buchanan fan. After the Bears last few games who in their right mind would consider them above CW or even Bullard for that matter. That constant mantra that Buchanan is still # 1 only proves that 69 is a Bears die hard. Not by any means a team ranking analyst.

I am sure 2007 regrets the Scary Good comment from the Coca Cola Classic tournament.  Both Ty Cobb and 2007 should have waited to declare victory...because every team has it's hiccups.   Last year's Buchanan team lost out of the starting gate to DII Frontier (who was actually quite good).

I think the CN loss will make CW a better team.  They will probably play a more ruthless brand of baseball from here on out.  Predictions and proclomations do make for message board cannon fodder...I think 69 has been pretty good natured actually while rubbing some noses in "it".   I see the comparison to Bako-phats as unwarranted and off base.

League is here and we might have a good feeling as to what will happen next Friday night!  TRAC baseball is always a good show!
The TRAC.....it's five year mission - to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations - to boldly go where no man has gone before....

I don't regret it. I never will. They are a good team. I never said they had it in the bag. I know all too well as a CW fan & former player that winning in February/March doesn't mean a championship in May. I still think they're the best team in the Valley.

Lol....love that 22 year old confidence.....lets see what unfolds....should be a good show the next two months.  There are two TRAC teams that know Goliath can be beaten.  I am guessing the Scary Good thread's life has just been extended til the middle of May!

Wow that was a great post. No doubt we "declared victory" way too soon. I wish we could take back all those posts where we did that. I looked for them but all I found was posts that stated how good CW team is. Kind of like Baseball America, ESPN, Pag Meter, and Fresno Bee ....... I can't find any posts that said CW would never lose a game or a post that said no need to even play the games. Hang in there though I'm still looking. LOL!

here are a few for you
Dude get over it. Buchanan was scary good last year & CW is this year. They're the real deal.

They might be the best team in school history when it's all said & done.

However this debate that there is another "team" around here thats as good as CW's ... thats all just homer talk.

Because I don't believe Bullard (or any other team) has a hitting line up 1-9 like CW's .....

hrough six innings Tyler Fergus has 10 strikeouts & the no no is still on. I am not very superstitious so I don't mind saying it.
CW has been waiting for this team for 4 years.   This year they are tearing through pitching staffs. I only see 2 or three pitchers in the valley that could hold them down.  Not to jinks their efforts but this team is a potential national championship calibur team.  They might be better than last years Buchanan team,

I saw the Boogaard put CN as his new #1... Thats hilarious. because after they go 6-9 in Trac play, he will sound just about as dumb as the people who said Cw was scary good
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

I could be wrong, but didnt i get hated on for being the only one who said Clovis West wasnt "scary good"?  Well, i hate to say that im right....... but i kinda am

GuyMcGee1

Clovis baseball and it's fans. . . It's almost like Red Sox-Yankees or Dodgers-Giants. . . I am sure most of you guys on this post have been involved in the illegal bat scandal! haha

Sixtynine

Question of the day before the games today. How many games in a row has Clovis West lost to Central??? LOL
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

Sixtynine

I said before the Central game on Friday that Buchanan would lose 2 out of its next 3 games. Well, after this coming Friday, ill be right again
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

Rothford has CW swingin' the sticks with purpose!Whoever brought him over gets a gold star.

2007 has taken unfair flak.  I'm the one who said 'scary good' before they evened out a bit.  Those early explosions were impressive.

I confess to hyperbole.  It happens.  They're obviously very good.  Buchanan answers the scary well so far.

CWClassof2007

Anyone know who was catching tonight against Buchanan & last week against Clovis North? One of their catchers last year had a major issue with passed balls & it seems like it has contributed to two of their three losses.

Basehit

Class of 2007 have you ever played behind the platein a big game and have your coach call at least 5 to 6 balls in the dirt with the winning run 90 ft. away. Are catcher blocked every ball tonight even the last WILD PITCH in the dirt to have it bounce off his chest protector to the right. They scord  1 run in 8 inns. But lets blame the catcher for the loss. You must have been a outfielder. Pathetic.

I am a former catcher. I'm also not blaming the loss on him. All I am saying is that has been an issue for two years now. Sorry you feel that way. You must be the father of the catcher. Don't worry, he'll only be placed elsewhere on field if he chooses to play at FCC next year or at some other JC.

Basehit

No im not his dad but I have been around the boys for years and the catcher I think your referring from last year  now plays for fresno pacific .

Koretoff. Yes he played catcher but he wasn't the main guy. He DHed a lot because of an injury.
