Boras Classic

Salinas beats Frontier 14-8 at the Fresno Easter Classic
Clovis West beats Foothill-Palo Cedro 11-7 in their first game at the Boras Classic in Sacramento. Game 2 is underway against Davis. Davis beat Stockdale in their first game.

CWClassof2007

#7
Frontier loses to Salinas 14-8 in a 10am game. Edison had a 7-2 lead after 4 over Franklin. Franklin scored 5 in the 5th to tie it up. It's in the 7th still tied 7-7.

CWClassof2007

Clovis West beats Davis 5-3. They'll play St. Francis tomorrow in one semi. St. Francis is ranked 4th in the state, two spots behind Buchanan.

CWClassof2007

Buchanan plays Grant at 4pm. If they win they'll play the Oak Ridge/Mitty winner at 7pm. The winner of that game plays Elk Grove tomorrow in the 2nd semi final. So there's a potential that Buchanan & CW could play in the Northern California championship. A CW win would really improve their state ranking. They've dropped a bit the last couple of weeks especially after being swept by Clovis North.

CWClassof2007

Franklin leaves the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. Extra innings at Euless.

CWClassof2007

Franklin beats Edison 8-7 on an error on the 9th.

Fungolegs

Sanger bunts to break up a no hitter vs Central? Who is their coach and what a bush league move form a guy who has a potential " first rounder" ? Also heard their fans were a real"class act" during the contest.

Sixtynine

These teams at the Boras are really not that good. We'll see what Elk Grove brings to the table. I'm sure they'll be a step up from Grant and Oak Ridge

Clovis North needs to get it together today and play a solid game against Cathedral Catholic!  If they can win this game against the highest rank team they have played in the lions tournament it will turn around those other loses and probably keep Clovis North state ranking high. Since there ace pitch yesterday hey should see someone that they can put the bat on the ball . Lets go CN put the surf boards down and give those bikini a time out until after the game , they will still be there after the game and it will be much more fun with a W .

It looks like Elk Grove and St francis brought plenty to the table !

Looks like the Trac is the best league in the state . CN just spank the number one team in San Diego by nine runs. Cathedral C is rank in the top ten in the country and with Clovis High crushing the number 3 rank team in the country from florida I would say the Trac is the top gun !!!!

Geronimo

That win by CN was better than winning any of the first 3 games, now it's surf and bikini time. Clovis North baseball have a happy and blessed Easter.!

Easy Chief.....The top 3 TRAC teams that played in out of town tournaments went 5-7 in the Boras and Lions.
