Minarets Mustangs

Has anyone at all been following the Minarets BB team. They are both State & Nationally ranked in several categories. They just won a tournament in San Diego. Their first tournament championship. This team has kind of sneaked up on people. They have a really, very good team.

One of the few games I've seen this season was Minarets-Woodlake, a game the Mustangs lost.  However, it was readily obvious this team is really talented.  It was a game their hitters crushed balls right at the defense.  This team would compete at any level, including upper levels.  Best Luck, Mustangs!

Don't sleep on the team or their baseball facility! It seems like they came out of know where, but you could see the build up to this season for a few years now.

It came down to Caruthers & Minarets for the league title as they both only had 1 league loss. Minarets won by a 12 - 10 score to claim the league championship with a 9-1(I think) league record. They now have the number 1 seed in the playoffs. Congrats Minarets.

Stop being an elitist.  Not everyone lives in a big town and goes to huge schools. 

TRAC baseball is awesome.  But over the years, for the small schools WSL baseball has also been quite tough.

Amen, Brother!  Nobody can diminish the level of competition in TRAC, but too many TRAC fans refuse to respect the accomplishments of teams like the Mustangs.  These guys have had a great season.  People trying to cast a pall on that is just being juvenile.  And elitist.

Looks like they should win it this year, they have a good record.
After looking at the D6 Bracket....... why do we have D6?
The combined record of the other teams in the bracket is 64-74, only 2 teams above 500???

They are having a fantastic season, it might be division 6 but that doesnt take away from what they are doing.

The Minarets Mustangs beat Farmersville 3-2 for the D-VI Section title. They finish 28-5 for the season. This is the schools first ever section title as they are a new school. Good job Mustangs.
