D1 Championship Game on Saturday This Year?

Does anyone know why the championship game was moved from Thursday to Saturday this Year?

This seems like a huge concession to any potential VC teams with only one legit starting pitcher.
(4 days between semi and final games instead of 2 as was the case last year)
