Here is a new thread so we don't have to debate the merits of the new central coaching staff.    :D

Sixty - I am sure you have some prognostications.   I say the winner of the Clovis - Clovis West (and Clovis is the definite favorite ) game takes the D1 Valley Championship.

Sixtynine

If Clovis West wins the VC I will buy everyone on here drinks at any bar of your choice
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

I'm with sixty. No way CW wins the VC.

ETKilla

How is the discussion at a minimum at this time of year?

Wow guys.

I hope it's because you guys are volunteering at animal shelters

Who wins these semi finals games and why?

First person to answer gets a cookie

I like cookies so....

Clovis 5 CW 3.  CW bats will have a hard time tomorrow.

CN 4 Buchanan 2.  Runs will be scarce.  I think I picked Buchanan but I'm just not sure anymore.  Seem to be the dysfunctional family.  CN number 1 will be tough to get by.

I have a bad feeling about this game for Buchanan, with it being at night. Gut feeling the Bears wanted the day  ;)

Prediction coming.......

I agree, I think it will be Clovis and CN in the finals.  But, I think the Clovis vs CW game will be high scoring.  West is hitting very well right now and if west throws Garabedian or Mcallister Clovis will score a lot of runs.

Sixtynine

Clovis is a shoe-in to advance. No chance they lose. Actually I'd give CW less than a 0% chance of winning tomorrow

Buchanan should be able to ride the momentum from the Liberty victory. A 5-run comeback in the bottom of the 7th was incredible.

CN dominated Buchanan a couple weeks ago when they played, but flip it over, and it was total domination from the Bears in round 1,

It's hard to get a read on this Buchanan team as they've been up and down all year. Almost like flipping a coin to see which team will show up.

I flipped my coin and I Buchanan has their hitting' shoes on tonight, advancing them to their 3rd VC in 5 years

CN will be in the championship for sure. Zero chance that the Bears win tonight.

Do you guys really believe that CW & Buchanan have zero chance of winning tonight? I'm a CW fan & based on how they've played lately I don't see them beating Clovis but it could happen. Buchanan & CN is a toss up to me. I wish that these games were being played at different times so I could watch both of them.

I think CW can win. When CW played Clovis twice a couple weeks ago CW should have won the extra innings game and the other game CW lost errors hurt them. No doubt Clovis is the favorite much like CW was in 2012 but we all know how that turned out. Its a combination of having to play good baseball some luck and some destiny on your side. Ill say this .... if CW hits and can keep the game close for 4 or 5 innings they have a chance to win.

I would never rule any team out in the semi's.  Its high school baseball, probably one of the most unpredictable sports there is.  One hot pitcher and a little luck is all you need.  I also do not think the winner of the Clovis/CW game is a shoe in to win it all.  Ridiculous statement.

I said it.  But I never said a shoe in.  I just think the winner of that game will win the championship.    And I do agree with Ty Cobb, if CW can keep it close or get ahead in the beginning, then they have a chance.   We will all know late tonight.
