#13 ain't too shabby.....I was shocked Chowchilla made the top 20
Poor people have voted DEMOCRAT for the last 50 years.....GUESS what....they are STILL POOR.

A little disappointed they didn't mention that Tulare went undefeated in regular season in 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Playing in the Div 2 VC 3 out of 4 of those years. I'm sure that factored into their ranking so why not mention it?

I dont understand.How is Liberty number 3?
They've won league twice.. how many points is that?
They ranked all 10 years = 10pts.
Lil help..

It says two DV titles in 2012-2013...  must be confused with Liberty-Madera...

Denver Viking

Nice to see Kingsburg at #7.

They switch back and forth from their own rankings to division championships. Kind of hard to keep track of what the standards were.

I feel like Clovis North shouldn't be on this list yet. If they have a championship game appearance this season then I think they're worthy.

TeddyKGB

the fact that Liberty is #3 and BCHS at #10 throws the credibility of this list out the window.

overall record? 70% winner? division 1? making it to semis a handful of times? no idea. where do you rank them? maybe they put them there with the confusion of the 2 titles

TeddyKGB

it may be a poor choice of words, maybe top 20 most consistant teams would be a better word choice. But a team that in 10 years has not one a VC or been in the finals is far from the 3rd most dominant teams in the central section.

I agree. I think the confusion with the titles from max preps may be the reasoning for the 3 spot

I agree Teddy I don't feel like we should be in there at all, especially when  I don't see a team like Tehachapi om the list.  They have been a consistent winner.

Teddy they obviously meant Liberty-Madera Ranchos.

CE is 61-56 and on the list? And I'm with Diesel, Im sure they meant Liberty-Madera. I know i will get some back lash but CE has not been consistent. So why is Mendota not on the list? Back 2 Back tittles and a runner up in the last 3 years? Its a question please not everyone jump me! lol

1. Bakersfield - 337 points

2. Clovis West (Fresno) - 309

Obviously, they gave no points for uniforms, facilities, or hospitality.

Or smug.......otherwise CW would've been the clear #1...... ;)

TeddyKGB

what are you talking about, the last 2 times CW came to Griffith they when away with wonderful memories. You CW guys are spoiled, you got portapottys what more do you want, if portapottys are good enough for the good hard working people picking grapes they're good enough for fans of the Drillers opponents!
Diesel, I think CW was docked points for blowing a lead in 07 with only a few seconds left on the clock.

Yeah, Tulare lost a few points for doing the same against Edison in the semis back in '09......a field goal with 4 seconds is tough to swallow......right Iz?  ;)

Try giving up a 40 yarder in double overtime in the semi's.   :)-
