Yale Bowl 100th Anniversary

OCV -- Do you know how to see this game? Army plays at Yale this Saturday in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Yale Bowl and I'd like to watch the game. Army/Yale was a good rivalry back in the day.

Will look into it.  THey are usually on the YES channel in the east coast.  Obviously Yale doesnt get national recognition.  Yale streams the games, but and covers it with Radio Voiceover.

Not on Dish either. Looks like I'll be streaming. I'd love to catch a game at the Yale Bowl someday. Pretty cool to celebrate the anniversary with a classic matchup.

Apparently is on Directv. Channel 608.

Also it looks like Dish is going to have it on one of their 'alternate' channels as well. Channel 451 unless you have the hopper in which case it is on 412-39.

Denver, if I could make a suggestion, I would recommend going on a weekend they play Harvard or Princeton.  Yale bowl holds 60,000 plus, and for Harvard, they usually draw about 55-60,000 and feels like a REAL college football game.  Very old school, traditional, and amazing.  Princeton draws about 20k. Other home games about 10-14,000 and stadium feels empty.  It's funny, the years that Yale is home to Harvard they lead the nation in in D1AA attendance average.

Someday I'll have to do that. I think they had 34K in attendance yesterday. Army is nearby but its grad base is spread around the world so they actually draw better when they play close to large military installations like Ft. Hood Texas.

Big win for Yale. Pretty pathetic showing by Army. Yale's O-line controlled Army's defense more than Stanford did. Congrats to Yale on the big victory.
