I'm still keeping the faith....what kind of fan would I be if I didn't?

A little too early to be going there Emerald.... A new coach with a new philosophy has been a breath of fresh air as far as I'm concerned. I for one am looking forward to the future of Exeter football under coach Frankland.

Coach White would probably be 2-6 if he had stuck around. This team has faced a lot of adversity and I don't think he would have weathered the storm quite as well.

I wonder what Dinuba's record would be if Michael Wright only played 3 quarters this year...

Glenn.... I know you aren't one for trash talk. I always appreciate your insight and opinions. You are a class act!!  :u:

ole hooker

Coach White would have been just fine. His coaching staff was already preparing  for this group and how they would tackle the inexperienced and young team that is on the field. He would have weathered it just fine even if he was 2-6 or 0-8 for that matter.

Coach Frankland has done a fine job and will continue to do so.

So let me put this to rest before it gets going anymore. You are correct we are not the same without coach White. With that being said we are in transition and learning on a daily basis. Coach White and the coaches before him got our football program to the level that they would even be talked about like places on this board. Our team has had many obstacles this year and learning a new system is just part of that. I will not make excuses and neither will our coaches and our athletes will continue to press on and play the game. These kids have played hard this year and will continue on that course and they continue to work at being GREAT at everything they do. We are in a good place and our coaches and kids are learning together Emerald I think you should give a coach sometime before you start throwing things out that could be looked at as a negative. Change is not always easy but in this case it was VERY necessary and needed and I stand behind coach Frankland in what I  see every single day on campus and on the field. Keep up the good work coach Frankland and staff!
