The SWYL, CMAC and Tri-River leagues matched head-to-head:

BHS, Edison, Clovis North (CMAC +1)

Liberty, Sanger, Central (SWYL +1)

Centenniel, Bullard, Clovis (CMAC +2)

Frontier, SJM, Clovis West (CMAC +3)

Stockdale, Madera, Buchanan (CMAC +4)

Garces, Madera South, Clovis East (TRAC +1)

I'd say top-to-bottom, the CMAC is the toughest in the section this season.

I guess I can see your reasons for giving the CMAC the best league in the valley title,
I just can't get past the fact that the CMAC can win four valley championships.
And I would not rate the CMAC has a power league.

No comparison if review each teams schedule:

#1 SWYL

# 2 TRAC

# 3 by a long ways CMAC

Centennial, Bullard, Clovis..........sorry gotta give that group to the TRAC.  Clovis beat Centennial, and scored at will vs Madera in their scrimmage.  Madera beat Bullard.  Madera would honestly be given a run by CE and Buchanan.

Frontier, SJM, CW........I personally think Frontier takes that group. By my count that makes it......

SWYL  (+2)
CMAC  (+2)
TRAC  (+2)
Just my opinion...........but looks pretty even.  Prob why no one can agree on a D-1 #1.

Madera has a very good team. I understand they were missing two of their top players the last few weeks. Against Bullard, everything they tried succeeded. In high school, you'd expect a trick play to fail at times; Madera hit three or four perfectly. Bullard was missing their starting RB who had gashed CW for 280 yards two weeks before. Is his presence a one-point difference-maker? I'd have to say yes. I saw Clovis last week, and I think a game between the Knights and Cougars would be very good. Hoping for a playoff game between the two.
