High school football fans need to remember that its just HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL! I witnessed Farmersville fans screaming at Immanuel football players at half time and after the game about over rated and much more. Every kid on both teams played their butts off and that is completely uncalled for. I know that isnt every fan by any means. but it was a hard fought game and some people need to control themselves and realize that high school football is supposed to be fun. These are 15 and 16 year old kids and no parent would like their kid yelled at by growin men,

Whoa there, a week late bud. But I was there as well and I agree with you, fans do need to know their role and worry about their own team. With that said, same goes for coaches. I overheard some of Immanuel's staff talking down on a certain player on the opposing team saying, "that kid will never play a college snap". Hey buddy worry about your team.

You could choose to focus on that, or you could choose to focus on the fact that after the game both teams stood out at mid field for an extended period of time, congratulating each other on a hard fought game, then the FHS players invited the IHS players to pray together at midfield.

I choose to remember the latter.

I Think all the players played their tails off! That did not happen with the Immanuel staff but the point is just enjoy great games, and dont get on 15 and 16 year old kids.I know that Immanuel coaches have talked to college recruiters about how impressive Sam Metcalf is. Bottom line is its high school football and just let the kids play and have fun.

From what I was told one of the Immanuel players threw Metcalf onto the track during one play  I'm almost sure the people in Farmersville did not like that at all, also that Immanuel had a hand full of personal fouls. I could see a lot of fans being upset when stuff like that is going on, Farmersville has a great atmosphere at their games Im sure these incidents played a factor if they were that rowdy.

I loved when the fans of the opposing team yelled and screamed at us. Especially before the game. It usually led to a 40-some to 0 type win.

In all honesty though you are throwing a hissy-fit over a chant/words said from the stands? There are far much worse that could of been said or done. None of your fans or players were threaten/intimidated at the restrooms or concession stand, no eggs were thrown at your bus, and there were no problems whatsoever. You are choosing to make one. Instead of creating a thread and making a big deal outta nothing, tell your 15-16 year olds great game, fix the mistakes and get ready for Glenn's CVC boys.
