QuoteGHF, who's putting in for the Centennial job and who is the front runner?

I'm not at liberty to say but what I can say is there are some surprises and some re-treads in the hat. Pick a name! I'd like to see them go with some experience. Hopefully the admin decides to get back to passing the ball more than Snead did. Hanson definitely fit that type of offense more and it's understandable why they went from power run game in year 1 of Snead to more passing in year 2. I think they want to get back to a balanced spread em out attack. They've got some horses up front and several talented players returning.

Has the Centennial job been flown yet?

I don't believe it has been flown yet.  Latest rumor over break was that they may stay in house and hire their Defensive Coordinator Mike Gregg who has been a head coach previously at Foothill.  Makes sense since that staff has only had 2 seasons there and Gregg was acting Head Coach while Sneed battled through cancer treatments last season.

Just got wind that coach B  from orosi resigned! That's to bad he was a dam good coach,he did good in the time he was there. My boy played for him two years ago and my nephew played for him this year and they had nothing but good things to say about him. Hey coach B if your on preps I want to give you props  on the job u did there at orosi and how you handle these Young men I know coaching at orosi  is very hard because  of all the negative  people. That program  was in the dump , but u put us on the map again :u:
I hope whoever they bring in keeps  it up and please as a parent and a alumni don't bring back that o line coach he is the most negative  person I've seen and his mouth is terrible I've seen it first hand at the games I attended  :d:
GOOD LUCK OROSI!

Centennial (D1) -
Sunnyside (D2) - Pat Hill
Selma (D4) - Ricky Manning
Corcoran (D5) - The OC
Lindsay (D5) - One of the old HCs
Orosi (D5) - The JV HC
Yosemite (D5) - a great 8 man coach.

Just a wild guess

Sunnyside will hire from within as I do not think there is a teaching job available.

OB or Bransteder?

That stinks for Coach Prosser, I know he was going through a lot up there with the current admin....they are not supportive at all.  Coaches Beware.

I think that all had to deal with that hazing incident. Sucks for him. A few bad apples spoil it for the entire bunch even if he wasn't aware of such bullying. But, the timing of it is what gets me. If it was totally regarding that incident, then let him go right after the season or during. Don't wait till mid January when Coach Prosser was probably already putting things in place for next year and try to build off the cohesion that the team rallied behind after the hazing incident. These people have no clue. It's like the Gustapo in today's world. This is the coach at Taft High. What exactly is expected? If Coach wasn't the right guy a year ago, don't hire him. I'm out!

Totally agree here Coach Prosser was let go fought for his job came back and managed to rally the troops and finish the season as respectable as one could.  Gonna be hard to find a replacement for that job! good luck with that one Admin.

I could see Brandsteter at Sunnyside, not sure about his HC aspirations though?  OB?  O'Brien?  Why would he leave CUSD?  East might be good in a few years?

What job that isnt filled do you guys think has the most potential?

CUSD is non-union so maybe the FUSD pays a little better???

MiddleSchoolLegend

FUSD would probably have to give OB the sun, moon, and stars to get him to come back.
