I understand, really didn't pay attention. Responded only cause someone else mentioned me. I will go with Dinuba then and Ktown

Dinuba
Sanger
Kingsburg before the drama

I agree...  The guys on Harleys in Dinuba really make an impression from the visitors side.  However, if you notice these three towns are all still a one horse show.  A lot of schools have lost community support and loyalty a result of multiple schools.  I would consider Clovis a great high school football town too, but due to all the schools they just don't have the same atmosphere as the one school towns.

Most all of the smaller towns. Chowchilla, DP, Los Banos. Oakhurst used to be a great football town, but I am sad to say the Badgers have fallen on hard times & the town doesn't care anymore. That really puts my junk in a wad (pisses me off) as they will jump back on the bandwagon when the good days roll around again. Chowtown & DP really impressed me as good football towns. I also will have to go with Sanger & Kingsburg.

Bakersfield bar none! BHS put football on the map in the Valley. I think their tradition and Championships speak for themselves.

I have to  go with the Sanger Apaches !!  :u: Great town support EVERY year !! Dinuba is good  - never been to a K-Town game . Again , we are talking "towns" . If we were talking "Programs" the list would change  to include Edison (when they are good) Bakersfield (every time I've been there) Clovis North (so far) & the Clovis Cougars ( just since 1970)  :D

Kingsburg Now and forever!...Its The Main Event on Friday nights in the fall.... :u:

I thought of Sanger as soon as  I read this. They are the same year after year no matter the record.  The games are packed, you feel the energy as soon as you get there.  Plus during the game there is no track around the field so you feel like you apart of the game.  Kingsburg as already said is up there as well.  I would have put Fowler up there too, but during the lean years the crowds drops off a bit.

laidback- I went to a few Yosemite games last year.  I was impressed with the crowd size despite their record.  But it is the only thing going on a Friday night in Oakhurst.

phats get back in your cage.... don't get on here rooting for the Drillers now keep rooting for the Hawks and their 2-8 future

I can remember going up to watch when a Bakersfield team played either Clovis or CW, and later at Buchanan CUSD put on a show back then, from the decorations, the band, everything was first class.

Report

Sanger, Mendota, Kingsburg, the old Dos Palos.

Was probably when Bako played at Buchanan in 2009. Didn't hurt that Buchanan was the #1 rated team in the Valley that year at the point of that game.

When Buchanan football is good, they can pack Veterans Memorial stadium on the home side in a regular season game. Unlike any of the Clovis teams can IMO. However, they are really never that good and thus rarely see that kind of crowd.
