My buddy just told me that both of Central's starting WR's/DB's will be out tonight due to injury.  One of them just returned for the Bullard game and was injured again.  Big blow to passing game, and defense. i'm second guessing my Central pick tonight.

Why are they playing the Central game on a Thursday, did I miss something?

White and Johnson will be out tonight. Johnson just returned for the Bullard game, and re injured his groin I think they said. Central's game is tonight at Central (Koligian Stadium).  It is the make up game for bad air cancelation they had with Liberty Bako a couple weeks ago.  It's against Buhach Colony who also had to cancel their game that week.  They both had bye's this week.

The district has their big athletic fundraiser crab feed tomorrow.  It is planned every year during the football bye week.  Already dished out the money to rent out Holland Park, so they had to have the game today.

Central beat up on Buhach Colony last night 38-15, without Johnson or White the young players stepped up big for them and had 200 rushing yards as a team, BC scored first then Central went off for 38 unanswered points. I give them a lot of credit for how they played last night lose a hard fought game to Bullard then come back 6 days later lose two starting WR's to injury but the players who did suit up last night stepped up, came out ready to play and just took it to Buhach.

I hated to see Clovis West join in the grey pants trend that Bullard & Clovis North were on the last couple of years. It looks even worse with the cardinal & gold. Clovis East wore the grey well from 03 to 06.
