maybe the sign had the sanger players so emotionally distraught that they had to release their aggression via vandalism?

and here is yet another poster that doesn't agree with you Truth...haha
Count me in too . I don't care what the cheerleaders have to say. I'm much more interested in there moms at this point  :). Really though : feeling bad about losing is a step in the right direction - away from the politically correct "participation trophy" movement !!

TeddyKGB

there's another one Truth, Bronco coached football for over 20 years he knows something about sportsmanship and he isn't an emotional wreck over the sign either.

Teddy... you're missing the point... Sanger has a proper decorum which MUST be followed...

you are supposed to disgrace yourselves BEFORE the game is played....

I personally think it is hilarious and there is no reason for people to get all upset over nothing. The truth hurts I guess.

Back when it was just Clovis high and Clovis West the amount of trash talking was unreal! There was no social media or anything else it was people calling and saying things, saying things at other events, the occasional fight in the parking lot of the volleyball game on Tuesday before the Friday football game.

There was much more going on then a sign being held up by a cheerleader. There's no wonder our kids today have so much difficulties dealing with adversity. There are people getting worked up over a sign. LOL

Get over it, kids lost, they got it rubbed in a little bit, and guess what win or lose they have memories for a lifetime. The whole part of sports is that the times of adversity will make the kids stronger, better people.

We forget why we play the sport and it's not so everyone wins in the end.

EXACTLY! You're right helmet your entire post is dead on!
and here's another one that doesn't agree with your whiny sentiments truth. How is it that you're the only one that got his feelers hurt? But its nice to see that you are in touch with your feminine side.

For reals...a DAD is the OP???   Could see a mom, maybe...but a DAD?  He embarrased his team. One of my best friends in high school has a cheerleader at Lemoore. I sent her a link to this...she laughed lol.  But aside from that. I have 2 boys...i asked both what they would think if they were on the losing side and the cheerleaders held up this sign. They both laughed.

TeddyKGB

well Thetruth, seem we have not had one person, male or female, share your idiotic sentiment that Lemoore disgraced the entire town. I wonder why that is?

Geez ... way back in ancient bako the Blades and Drillers used to emblazon each other's water towers with B or EB ...
I even remember one year EB's victory bell went missing ... showing up on the lawn at Quincy and Mt Vernon with B's all over it:

TEN YEARS LATER!!!!!

It's HS football (rivalry) for cryin' out loud. Payback is fair in football, basketball, volleyball, yada, yada, yada ...

If you guys want to know what being 'owned' means in terms of high school rivalries, ask anyone who attended Hoover in the 70's.  Bullard is just another FUSD school now, but back in the day, we could make things happen.  With impunity.

TeddyKGB

izne wasn't Bullard a school "special" kids back in the 70s?

Impunity?  How very Edgar Allan Poe of you...

LOL when we showed up to play in Madera we all had to put our helmets on before getting off the bus just in case someone threw something at us.

By the way it was exciting, we still talk about it, and although it was "tolerated" it was tolerated.

Special: exceptional, unusual, singular, uncommon, notable, noteworthy, remarkable, outstanding, unique.

Yes.
