The Drillers will get back on the winning path, Chaminade handled Valencia and held them to 15 points the Drillers should put up at least 35 against them.

Liberty @ Cathedral Catholic 42-14

I am still not convinced that Liberty is very good; they beat an awful Buchanan team. Cathedral Catholic will put up a lot of points against Liberty.

Mission Oak vs. Frontier 28-7

Frontier should win this one MO is not very good. Frontier should have enough weapons to handle this one.

Centennial @ Clovis 38-28

Clovis must have over looked Stockdale, not sure what circumstances kept that game so close but Centennial will have a tough time in Clovis.

Stockdale @ West
Stockdale 28-0

Stockdale will pick up another win against a terrible West team.

Edison vs. garces 42-35

I think this one will be close but in the end discipline will prevail. I hate to have to do it again but garces will beat the winless Tigers.

if liberty finds a way to win, it'll send shock-waves through the state, much like their win against mission viejo a couple years ago. cc ranked 12 in the state according to maxpreps.

I think you guys are giving way too much credit to Liberty. Lest look at who they have beat:

CW: 2-2  a team whose wins are against a winless Edison team and Centennial that is 1-3, hardly impressive.

Ridgeview: 1-2 sole victory comes against Frontier that is not very good.

Buchanan: 3-1 two wins are against very mediocre teams and a 0-4 Lemoore. They looked horrible against LHS. I don't see how this team wins a game in the TRAC

They where throttled by Central.

This will not be close, CC will shut down the Pats offense.

Lol, be nice Teddy, I do agree with point of view, I just don't like how you are saying it.
Just to make myself feel better, I will say the same for your 2-1 Drillers, those two wins were hardly impressive as well, both those schools that the Drillers beat are still winless.

And that Chaminade game was there for the taking, a lot of mishaps with those youngsters, that could be a problem later in the season.

I don't think Liberty is a bad team, they just aren't anywhere near what they were last year which is expected. They will be competitive in the SWYL and will improve weekly.

Teddy is correct, the Patriots are a new group this year. They are young and lack experience. But they are smart, hardworking, and well coached. They have also experienced several setbacks due to various injuries. If they continue to grow and improve they may surprise some folks!

It is a new year and we need to stop comparing last years team. Last year's team was clearly better than any Division 1 team in the section at the end of the year. We are only 4 games into the year right now and the jury is still out on everyone.

Cathedral Catholic is perhaps the best team the Patriots will face this season. They are without their QB, have to travel 5 hours, and are huge underdogs.

Hope BHS gets healthy soon, as league starts in a few weeks. It is wide open without a clear favorite .... with injuries or without.

its definitely anyone's league right now, I didn't think Stockdale but they seem to be playing well. Once league starts maybe one or two teams will separate from the pack.
