Just wondering if there are any interesting players transferring to new locations this upcoming season?

Fresnofbfan

Big wideout from sunnyside possibly going to Clovis west, I hope we don't lose him.

DeMarcus Griffin from Washington Union is transferring to El Camino in San Diego. He's a D1 prospect. I believe he has an offer from Kansas.

Does El Camino still run the Wing T?
Coach- " So they're gonna let you run the ball this year huh."
Player-" If they wanna win they will."

No clue. Just heard this from someone.

Carson Bailey will be joining his Clovis North teammate at Buchanan this fall.

I was told that a kid can't recall his name, I believe a running back, went from South High to Bakersfield.

I think these transfers are more about the baseball program than they're about football. Brock Jones will have to choose between football & baseball after high school.

I don't pretend to know all the details of what's going on just up the road...or how badly these moves (and others) may unravel/alter CN expectations...but I do know (and am friendly with) several of the famlies that make up part of that CN class of 2019.  I will say, many of those folks were quite confident that title after title would be rolling in the 3 marquee boys sports by now.  I suppose that could still begin to happen, but since it hasn't yet, I'm not surprised that coaching 'issues' (real or imagined) have popped up creating a culture where some kids (looking to maximize what's left of their time in HS) just want to take their ball and play elswhere in search of stabilty....tough to blame them really.

Somebody else CN has lost (so I'm told) that I don't think has been mentioned here is former 8th grader at Granite--Keanu Williams (6'4" 230)...although he was originally a Valley Oak/CW kid...he followed his his dad to Granite (who's since left) instead of going to Kastner, he's left the CN program too...for Clovis High I'm told.

There has to be more going on at North than just the Baseball program for kids to be leaving. So far it put the football team losing how many kids? I feel more would start to unravel as we get closer and progress through the season.

I've been told by several people that around 8 players from Granite Ridge's 8th grade baseball team that won league are all enrolling at Buchanan for this school year.
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

I thought Clovis West & Buchanan parents were bad when I was in high school. They've got nothing on the Clovis North parents.

If true... a domino effect will follow.  You can only have so many stars on one team.

I've already heard this is happening. Should be interesting to see how this all plays out. More moves to come, I'm sure.

I have a different take---I think it makes more sense for Bailey to go to Buchanan with the notion that every major D1 School in America will be stopping by to see Kendall Milton--more exposure perhaps?

or maybe the sophomore Frampton might soon over take him.

Confirmed. Keanu Williams is at Clovis High and is on varsity as a freshman.
