Or maybe, (sometimes we forget) that we aren't as good as we think here in the Central Section sometimes...  there are some monster teams out there in this country. From the pictures I saw, Orem looked like one of those teams (huge).

Very funny how parents have influence on Golla but but no parent especially Cams have talk to Golla or even threaten to take his son anywhere. I'm convinced that khighfive is probably a woman because of the emotional things I'm reading. What's the problem with 7 on 7 with folks kill me. The Mayberry comment racist now Ha. the Mayberry comment is about the slow mindset of people who don't want to change racist really see again searching to start more mess had nothing to do with race if you really wanna know my mom is white so try again next time.  Again this blog will never tell truth it's about hate for no reason. Mater Dei , Calabasas and so many of my friends have had 7 on 7 teams with their schools no one has a problem but the lies and made up stories about what's going on is hilarious. Then the I'm adult comment  a scary adult who hides behind a blog name so you can be sneaking and create more controversy for a school and team you love what a Joke that is. By they everyone for 25+ years calls me Deacon when you have nothing to hide you could say name but cowards khighfive do the nickname so I can still come around and cheer like You care for the kids OK.... Same people who talked about Pro Way CV CAME OUT TO PLAY FOR TEAM THIS YEAR... FUNNY..

I know that last year.. the younger kids seemed completely content just winning VC.  I heard from players on the team that the younger kids were claiming that they already had the "ring", and they didn't play with heart at the state tournament level (coming out with "cramps", etc.)... and it showed.  Deacon's kids did have some good plays; however, I didn't key on them during the second half and see who limped off the field, and who didn't.  So, I will pay attention to that going forward.  As far as QB is concerned, Golla stuck with Gragg throughout the entire season.. and I doubt his dad was threatening anything.  So, it makes one wonder about Golla's thought process when it comes to picking a QB.

Golla once had a team where there were no kids who played QB (similar to this year's team with regards to kicking/punting).  He ended up throwing a ball in the air.. and giving the position to the kid who jumped up over the other two.. and fought to come down with the ball.  That kid had zero experience at QB ... but, because he was a competitor and a winner, he got a chance.  Does the name Pete Mitchell ring a bell?  I know that just because some kid shows up and claims to be a QB.. doesn't mean that is the position for him.  Golla needs to dig down deep, grab ahold of something.. and figure this situation out.  I cannot watch another season like a few years ago.. where BHS' QB was no bueno - but! he was a great athlete in passing league and practice.

MW1 the Gragg family was upset during 2014-2015 about Golla using the wildcat will Hill and Bruce instead of their son. They went to KHSD and threatened a lawsuit on the grounds of racism. Therefore the next year Golla used him to keep them from taking him to court, that year Maran should have been the starting QB.

I could go on all day but I have to take my emotional self to my real adult job that doesn't include lying, being a manipulator or a Jack of all trades's. Beware people of Bakersfield the Deacon is trying to join the snoop dog football league. He needs money and equipment!!!

Didn't BHS win a valley championship last year?  Hasn't coach Golla earned an entire hand full of rings and a state title?  The Drillers lost one game, and all the sudden the guy can't coach.  Nobody puts more time and energy into his kids and program than coach Golla.  It is very easy to second guess after a tough loss, but my opinion is that the Drillers we be stronger because of it.  Winning has many fathers, losing is a bastard son.

I don't think anybody is saying that Golla is not the right coach for the job... these comments are from people who are invested in a school's football program.  If you notice, nobody seems to comment if Shafter is 0-10, 10-0, or 5-5.  Nobody blamed either coach when Liberty beat BHS twice in one year.. and BHS beat them twice the next year.  The talent level fluctuates.. and opinions are like butts.  The bottom line is that Driller fans want their team to be the best it can be! 

This site is sometimes like the sports talk radio show on the movie Friday Night Lights.. where the people call in and complain about what their kid's coach is doing, not winning, etc.  Then, at the end of the movie.. the adversity is overcome, and the team is in the championship game.  Let those people have their place to vent.. and, if you don't want to participate, don't click onto this topic.

only an idiot would say that Golla is not the right guy, from what I have witnessed when parents start calling for a coach's job its usually because their kid isn't playing or playing the position they want him to play. This has happened before, things get a little rough and the finger pointing starts. I can recall sitting in the stands listening to parents bash Pat Preston the year BHS was beat by Bishop Amat for handing the ball to Steve Wofford "too much" because they knew he was getting the ball! The guy won 3 straight VCs undefeated and had one of the best backs in the nation and they where bashing him!
As for the "good" Deacon I don't know him personally so I will refrain from commenting on his character, however the impression I get from his incoherent ramblings is that he is not, how shall I say this...well I'm certain he's never been a finalist in a spelling bee, he lets his emotions get the better of him. His constant putting down of Bakersfield because we won't get on board with the 7v7 like everyone else, his constant claims that he is in the know tells me that he is trying to convince people that what he's saying really is for the good not at all how it seems (after being called out). Does he really have good intentions, of that I don't know again because I don't know him. Does he believe his intentions are good, maybe again I don't know but because perception is reality it doesn't matter what his intentions or the other 7v7 guys intentions are.

Didn't the 5-Time-Superbowl-Champion N.E. Patriots win the Superbowl last year?  Didn't that same team just lose to the K.C. Chiefs.. at Boston?  And, let me guess, you don't think anybody in Boston might have second-guess'ed the Patriots coach or QB after that tough loss? I'll bet a lot of them did.  But yet.. I bet you none of those same people will claim that Belicheck can coach.. or Brady can't QB.
