I'm thinking more like this:

Central- Best team I've seen in the Valley this year. Think Tompkins was still a bit concussed (De Lasalle) against Buchanan, hence the 3 picks.

Clovis West- Really even balance of offense and defense. Cachere is much further along in his development than I thought. Could surprise this year.

Buchanan- Best running game in the TRAC. Milton is as advertised, however Ervin is so much better than the preseason rankings. 3 more inches on this guy and we're talking no brainer D-1. I think they fall short this year though.

Clovis- Just a grinder team. They could very well be 2-4 as much as they are 5-1. They may be toughest team in the TRAC just a limited supply of elite athletes holds them back.

Liberty

Bullard- Very young team and prone to too many mistakes. They have made strides to be relevant this year and are STACKED with talent at the skill positions. If they limit mistakes they have a chance to win the CMAC but Valley is out of the question.

Edison- As everyone knows...Edison's offense will continue to hold them back. Unless Silva can put it together, having Stephens at QB, although serviceable, will inevitably lead to their doom. Hate to see so much talent go to waste. I hope they pull it together!

Sanger- Cropper, Cropper, and more Cropper. This kid is the Real Deal!! However when he is off the field Sanger resembles a D2 school.

Memorial- They are undefeated and Alec and Jalen are a hell of a combo. Have they played any real competiton this year? That is the question... After their Madera victories the rest of the CMAC will flush out the real Panthers.

You DO realize Bullard just dismantled Sanger, right?
BULLARD KNIGHTS FOOTBALL: 2009 VALLEY CHAMPIONS!

Bullard Knights baseball: 5 Major Leaguers, 7 Valley titles, 4 CA titles, 1 CA runner-up, 2 National titles, 2 National runners-up, 1 5th place finish in the nation.

Bullard Knights softball: 5 Valley titles, 2 CA titles, 2 National titles.

ummmm....not defending champs. the title of defending champs belongs to the drillers. I can't believe teddy hasn't called you on this yet. disrespecting his beloved drillers like that. although he's probably still drinking off that loss to the rams.

you misspelled Bakersfield High School Drillers...otherwise the statement is 100% accurate.

You are absolutely correct. I will fix that now. Thank you.

Looks good as of today, but there are some pretty big games this Friday night and Saturday........
after this week we will know who is the 1 through 10 rankings.

I thinks the CMAC title is this Friday
and if Clovis beats Central I think they win the TRAC6
never bet against Ham!!

The CMAC is going to go down to the last week. There are still some big games coming up.  Sanger vs ET/ Bullard vs ET/ Bullard vs Memorial and Sanger vs Memorial.  Just like in the TRAC a lot of big games still to come.

So is SJM vying for D-1? ...

"IF" Garces "divinely" wins 2, 3, or (horror) 4 more in SWYL does that place them in D-1?

The CSCIF shudders! The whole where to put 'em issue from Central Coast is thrown into a tizzy!

CMAC is going to be a toss up, however I think Memorial is the early favorite.

Here's my opinion for what it's worth

1) Central
2) CW
3) Buchanan
4) Liberty
5) Clovis
6) Bakersfield
7) Bullard
8) Sanger
9) Centennial
10) Ridgeview

chrissk2002

No they didn't. We can replace that entry with Ridgeview. Although I do believe SJM is a better team right now.

Maybe a little shuffling of the deck??

Central - Bullying people around!
CW- Solid D and Solid O making plays.
ET - Playing good football at the rt time.
Buchanan - Might have blown their load against Central
Clovis - Steady all year just haven't won the big game yet
Bullard - a couple of wins back to back might turn them around.
Liberty - Same as Bullard
Bako - Struggling all year to figure it out
Sanger - This week will tell us a lot.  Just might not have the horses to beat the top teams in league.  Coaching could make the difference in this one
Ridgeview - Not the same as in years past.  Lacking the overall talent to compete consistantly.

After last weeks games:

Central
CW
Buchanan
Edison
Bullard
Liberty
Bakersfield
Clovis
Sanger
Ridgeview

CW murdered Buchanan and central needed a miracle to get that win.
CW should be the 1.
Central the 2.
