Best coached teams in the TRAC

1. CN (Gotta love Erdman, Pierce, and of course simons)
2. Clovis (Johns does work on D)
3. Central (Garza gone is a killer)

Everyone else tied for last

How about CN D...You gotta say Fred Zepeda, Nikko Matta, and Donald Speed have been doing a great job scince they have took over the D... I think Coach Hammond is a Outstanding Coach too!!!

Are these guys good football coaches because they work for CN. Can you share a little bit more about these guys. I've heard about Zepeda but who are Speed and Matta?

If I'm not mistaken, Nikko Matta played for Sanger not too long ago......right? If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he was a MONSTER on the D-line!!

Zepeda is from DB guru he used to coach back at Central under CQ and at COS. I dont really know who the other two are

Agree. The Broncos defense has been much better since the change. They look more like the old Broncos we've known for several years. They are playing much better and flying to the football. Now we just need to get more pressure on the QB and better penetration up front. Then they're back to Bronco defense like we know it should be.

The guy they let go was not good for the Broncos. It looks like a different bunch of boys showed up with him gone! Coaching IS important... No question about that. Chemistry and buy in, gotta have it among players AND coaches. I don't think the boys were buying what Therrien was selling... nor was Tim Simons. The divide was happening long before the blow up on the sidelines, that resulted in his firing. He just wasn't Bronco material.

Didn't Matta play at Fresno State? Erdman at Clovis High and Fresno City I believe. Erdman and Kevin Robinson are offensive guys. Robinson played WR @ Utah State and kick returns for KC Chiefs. Erdman and Pierce are calling the shots on offense. Defense falls to the others mentioned. I could stand corrected, but I think that is the run down.
Why do they use costly new sterile needles to give a lethal injection? Really. Just save the same friggin' needle.

Nikko Matta Played at Sanger High and Was a Standout DL at Fresno State, Donald Speed was on Central Staff under CQ and was on Coach Hall Staff last year, I have seen him work several camps around the State..Coach Fred was a DC at Mclane, Coach at Central under CQ and Coach at COS for a few years, He also Coach some of the premier State all star games and All-American games too..I think all three of them come up with the game plan and Zepeda call the plays on Friday nights...They make a good team from what I know

You love yourself some coach Fred!

kenny powers

Clovis will beat CN by 14 points.  Kenny can't be wrong about soemthing as trivial as high school football. I'll also take :

CE over the Bears &

CW over Central

I've just got to say this since I've been reading all of this stuff for weeks. Jim O'brien is a terrific coach in a situation where he is attempting to rebuild a broken program and is doing so little by little. Rome wasn't built in a day and it may take a little while to put a winner on the field but I firmly believe it will be done, next year is the year for Clovis East.

I agree, except for the whole next year thing.  If Washington can stay eligible and not get in trouble in 2 years they can be pretty good.

Who do you suggest is the right man for the job? Clovis East has a lot going against them. This isnt your old Timberwolves

Not sure...

Any coach walking into that kind of situation is going to have a rough go at it. Washington is the building block a lot like the back at Clovis North. Build around him and the quarterback and I see bright things in the future for them.

I'm not buying it. You guys are telling those kids that it's there fault for not being competitive football players. At some point the coaching and the process of learning how to be competitive should be questioned around the buddy table.

Well that was helpful, maybe you could pass that suggestion on to the District office???

Perhaps you could pick up a whistle??

It seems that no TRAC schools are overly impressive for the exception of Clovis north, I will be at this game tonight, looking forward to the battle between Coach Simons and Coach Johns to great Coaches!

Lol...Perhaps...perhaps...and let's start looking at the other schools...no ownership...

If the guy at Roosevelt can do it with his clientele, maybe he's the man for CE.

In the mean time, give OB a little time.  Programs like CE need to buy into a system and the kids need to see consistency in the program from top to bottom.
