Im going with all the ones who should win by seeding.  No shockers...but the Liberty/BHS game is almost a toss up.

I'd love for my Knights to beat Central, but they would be hard-pressed to do so even with the improvements/scheme changes they've made over the course of the season. Central is far-and-away the best team in the section, so I'm expecting them to win it all - and if Bullard can't take it I'm rooting for Biggs, who I got to know while he was at Palm and Barstow, to take the title.

All that to say - I expect a closer game than the 44-0 blasting by Central at the outset of the season. the Grizzlies will probably win by 3 or 4 scores. Maybe 38-14? At the least, the experience sets Bullard up well for competing next year. THAT will be a title contender, barring injuries.

I agree, for some reason I think Bullard is going to come out firing.  If Central overlooks the knights they could be in for a shocker.  Will be a long shot, but I don't think Bullard will lay down on this one.

As I stated in the VERY beginning of the Summer time. BHS has a ton of outside and inside issues that have plagued them this year. They will lose to Liberty and this time it won't be by a field goal.

BHS has lost players due to being ineligible and injuries during practice.

As soon as Golla figures out that his "salesman" (which has convinced Golla on how you need to treat certain athletes) goes away, BHS for the next few years will be as bad as ever if he doesn't straighten this out.

I'm thankful my son quit this year. As intelligent as he is, kids know when Coaches treat others differently just because they can offer you a possible ring? How about let's get back to ethics! This season, hopefully opened Golla's eyes and will get rid of the outside B.S and get back to what he was brought to BHS for.. Winning Tradition!

BDF, I agree that BHS has had some issues this year. What the root of said issues is I'm not 100% sure, but I'm with you that the "good" deacon was not helping matters. I have to disagree with "being glad" a kid quits, I don't believe it's ever ok to quit. Great lesson: when you don't like the way things are quit. Here's a thought, how about stick it out because there are times in life when others get treated differently at work and you have to learn to deal with it. You talk about ethics after saying you're glad a kid quit, that makes no sense what so ever. You and people with a mindset like that are what is wrong; you take a valuable teaching opportunity and you choose the easy way out...quit.

I guess I should clarify as to why I'm glad my son quit.  The coaches only allow certain players to miss days without notice, calling a coach  or having to answer to anyone. My son, was taking a class  at the college and was threatened over and over again, "if he missed anymore practices he would be kicked off". He missed 2 practices for taking a online summer school class and had to go in a take a Cumulative exam and a Final. But was threatened of being kicked off. We met with his position coach who flip flop through it all. So we allowed him to quit to continue his education. Other than that, NO way would we let our son quit, you finish what you start in our family. Unless, your hands are tied.

Central, Clovis West, Buchanan and liberty. I would love for the Drillers to pull it out but I feel they score will be higher this time. Unfortunately, BHS will try to play tricky plans and it will be a huge disappointment. BHS kills themselves with the penalties over and over again. This group of boys knows they will not be disciplined for their actions. For years the team would have to do extra running in practice when they got penalties. Now they are treated like fragile flowers. Nothing will change until they get a new OC and the head coach stands up to the football dads. Example a dad telling other people he is taking his superstar player to Stockdale next year. Come on put your son in the worst performing team in the league, brilliant. I saw don't let the door hit you on your way out and take the spiritual advisor with you.
