1  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: Calpreps Preseason Rankings: D1 on: Yesterday at 10:48:38 AM
Huh?
name one that is not a CUSD school.
All three are Clovis schools! Buchanan(2000), Clovis East(03 & 06) & Clovis North(2012).
2  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: Calpreps Preseason Rankings: D1 on: July 27, 2015, 02:34:22 PM
Thanks for reminding me, lol.

Anyway, how long has Liberty been in D1? Has it been over ten years?
I can name a couple of schools that have won a D1 title before they've been open ten years.
3  Central Section / Central Section Football / Re: Preseason Rankings on: July 24, 2015, 09:46:56 AM
I'll definitely be going to more games this year because my work schedule will allow it. I think this year is the start to a good three year stretch for Clovis West football. Correct me if I'm wrong 69 but hasn't their freshman & jv teams been one of the best over the last couple of years? Not that it will translate to success at the varsity level. But it's a good sign.

He was wearing the flags of South Africa & Rhodesia when they still had apartheid.

One and done has ruined college basketball & the NBA.

I thought that there was another forum for all this crap? So annoying seeing multiple topics for the same camp or passing tournament.
8  Central Section / Baseball / Re: Central Section Champs will be at Rawhide in 2016 on: June 07, 2015, 06:49:11 PM
Cal-Hi Sports has been posting softball and baseball section finals from other sections around the state - through today! That's right, some sections have playoffs running TWO WEEKS longer than ours.
That's what happens when there are too many divisions in the section.
9  Central Section / Baseball / Re: Central Section Champs will be at Rawhide in 2016 on: June 02, 2015, 05:40:58 PM
How much of the money goes to the schools? Do they clear out the stadium after each game?
10  Central Section / Baseball / Re: Central Section Champs will be at Rawhide in 2016 on: June 02, 2015, 01:00:40 AM
Well, the attendance from going to one site at Rawhide stadium is *way up* across the board.  And the nature of baseball is that being the home team at a neutral site has a built-in advantage compared to other sports.  I simply don't see a drawback to having it at Rawhide.
How is being the home team at a neutral site more of an advantage than being at home? Please explain that to me.
11  Everything Else / hsfan's Off Topic / Re: Bruce...I just don't know... on: June 01, 2015, 09:36:51 PM
And he's being given the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs next month. A year after Michael Sam received it for coming out of the closet. Because being gay & having a sex change are just as courageous as bein a black man in professional tennis or being open about having HIV/AIDS in a time period where everyone assumed that anyone who had it was gay. This is a joke.
12  Central Section / Baseball / Sixtynine coaching at Clovis West next year??? on: May 27, 2015, 09:05:26 PM
So are the rumors true?
13  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D1 Valley Championship on: May 22, 2015, 09:08:34 PM
I'd bet on Buchanan but I'm cheering for the Cougars. I'm going with a bunch of Clovis alums so inks of have to. My hatred for Buchanan baseball runs deeper than it does with Clovis. The Bears had our number more often than Clovis did when I was in high school.
14  Everything Else / College and Pros / Re: NFL QB's on: May 19, 2015, 06:54:51 PM
We're definitely seeing him get PAID on Sundays....... Wink
He's started one game last season.
15  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D-1 Seeding on: May 17, 2015, 02:18:30 PM
first of all coach underwood and his staff has done a great job withthese kids.....if the kid did say something it doesn't mean that the coaches allow it!!!!!!  "I expect nothing less from Madera". ...WOW.....what a comment......

I never said they didn't do a great job with the program. But this isn't the first time a Madera athletic program has had a player act this way during the game.
16  Central Section / Other Sports / Re: CIF State Aquatics Championships on: May 17, 2015, 02:14:09 PM
The Clovis West girl's extended their state record of consecutive section titles to 19. The CW boys finished 2nd to Clovis ending their steak of 16 straight years. State championships are next weekend at Clovis West.
17  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D-1 Seeding on: May 15, 2015, 05:44:21 PM
I know he excited about being a Bulldog ..but damn I'd hate to see him get shafted like the 2 previous players of the year that thought the same thing!!!
De-Committ while you still can!!!
Take the Dough!!
If he's drafted high enough he will never see Beiden Field.
18  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D-1 Seeding on: May 15, 2015, 05:43:18 PM
If you "heard" that it doesn't necessarily mean that it happened.  I wouldn't blast a kid that BLASTED a HR off of another kid that will probably be in the majors after next month!!!
Multiple people have said he yelled "f**k you" at the Central bench. I expect nothing less from Madera. It's not the first time it's happened with their program & it won't be the last. I'm surprised Andy Underwood & his coaches let it happen. And you have no clue how professional baseball works if you think Eastman will be in the majors next month. If he gets drafted high enough & doesn't go to Fullerton realistically seeing him in the majors is probably 4 or 5 years away. That's probably being generous still. Doesn't matter how talented the opponent is it doesn't give you the right to do what he did.
19  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D-1 Seeding on: May 14, 2015, 07:10:05 PM
Central did not shock Madera!!!!!!!    I think that Zamora actually shocked Eastman when he left the slider up. Zamora did what he does..........credit to both pitchers last night they showed up and definitely proved why they are at top of
the list in the valley.......one pitcher just made one mistake, and that was ......Feed the BEAST,,    Should be interesting in Tulare on Friday...
I heard Zamore also decided to shout some nice things at the Central dugout. Real classy.
20  Central Section / Baseball / Re: D-1 Seeding on: May 13, 2015, 08:26:10 PM
CW scores four in the 4th & add another in the 5th to take a 7-2 lead.
