this kind of unsavory language is what prompted the KHSD to not allow fans on the sidelines of Griffith Field, here in Bakersfield we are a bit more civilized than you fresno folk.

Did you say that with your hand wrapped around a brown paper bag and your pinky sticking out?

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.

Sad and sorry to hear that Coach T would act in this manner.  I know that he is a hard nosed perfectionist, but if this is true there is no excuse, he got what he deserved.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that there is ALWAYS two sides to the story.  All we've been discussing is how inappropriate it is to voice your angry frustrations in front of the players - which is wrong.  But what was behind the frustration in the first place?  Is it possible that Coach T might have a reasonable basis to be upset?  In hindsight, was it wise bringing Simons back out of retirement?

Just asking the hard questions.

izne quit asking people to think rationally! Just allow the knee jerk reactions and quit asking that the situation be analyzed from both side would you.

There is always more to EVERY story, I have no clue what went down here but to not accept that something caused the one coach to blow up and to not even want to know if he had a legit gripe is foolish. Personally, if CN loses a good coach I'm ok with it.

Their run is likely over after this year anyway. All of coach Hall's D1 guys are seniors this year
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

Did Hall go and recruit these "D1 guys", or did they come with the school when he showed up?

I'm sure there are two sides to the story, but this is the kind of thing that happens when the mojo starts slipping away.
come on IZ you know there is 3 sides. Have you forgotten the "TRUTH" side

That's usually somewhere in between, but you are absolutely right.

lol...yes there is...but if we hold our kids to a certain standard, then coaches should set that example.  I don't know the story...not privy to that info...but self control is a minimum standard of conduct.  Coming from me, who has a fuse about 3 mm long...but I'm not a coach :)

They were already there. I've know some of these kids since they were in elementary school. All from feeders, except perhaps 1 kid, and Cory didn't recruit him.
Why do they use costly new sterile needles to give a lethal injection? Really. Just save the same friggin' needle.

I was being sarcastic 2015, I think its stupid to say that kids at a high school are the previous coach's kids. Unless of course you're talking about a private/parochial school.

"typical loser attitude, over look character for instant gratification but no long term success." That's why some very unsavory characters keep getting jobs as head coaches. It is surprising what some schools will over look for a few W's

"Seems those "dumbies" at garces may have been onto something when they passed on this guy. I think you're right izne, it wasn't the F bomb alone I would bet there was prior issues that Simmons was fed up with (just my guess)." Or maybe they found out that ol Todd can't coach. I know your all LOL, LOL Cuz Todd has some bling. I'd say that he ought to have some championships when he fielded teams that made most JC's and small colleges jealous, and then plays a bunch of small D5'ish schools with them. Heck the kids could probably call all of the plays and conduct their own practices and win.
Remember, it's all about the kids......

So is Therrien still the HC in waiting? Lol

Maybe 3 from another school.
