Question for the Garces Supporters

What was is that you don't like about how it was handled? What should have been done different in your opinion GOAL? I personally hope that garces stays in the shape its in now for ever, but you do understand that this year wont define the program from here until then end of time. Is it that your kid is playing and its killing you that they are getting beaten by huge margins?

Sorry your both incorrect. I have no kid playing at Garces or any other school as I am way to old for that. I have no little Johnny. I have no family or friends attending Garces or any other school either. I did attend Garces, I do attend most games home and away for past 20 years. I do not claim to be an expert or a coach just simply a fan of the game and of the school. I use this forum in the past to tell you how great the Rams are and I now use it to vent my displeasure with the program today.

Teddy, On a year we are moving to the power league and at the time to D1 the off season was a disaster. The nation wide search took to long since it only went as far as John L backyard fence.
If it was TA from the start then he should have been announced and take over the program. The wait hurt the team as we lost some very very important pieces. Not fair to him or the program.

Ok now time for Tail to quote me and add his personal attacks on my thinking.

I believe what he stated was the definition of a "fan".  A true fan is involved enough that they question decisions that are made but stick with the team even if they are not successful.  I do also believe that we tend to push teams up sometimes faster than we should.  Good groups of kids come and go in smaller school programs.  They tend to make future teams better than what they would be but in the end you have a drop off of talent.  It is not enough past a certain point to say this years junior class is great so you should play at a higher level.  I think the question is the program better.  Even if in future years you are not number one you are still where you should be to be competitive.  I do not know enough about Garces to comment on their program, however if they moved up because overall the program can rise to the occasion then great.  One year does not make a great program and one year does not necessarily make a struggling program. (PS. I am a Notre Dame fan and oh how hard has it been through the years) :shy: :)

Let TA and the kids lick their wounds and get into the off season.  They will be better next year.  We have all gone through years like this.

We all love high school football.  We want to encourage the kids and coaches to keep up the fight.  I'm sure there are many on this board that were on or supported teams that had troubles.  Let's remember these kids and coaches do this for the love of the game and their school.

Teddy its a game with 15-18 year old kids and under paid coaches.  Lets give them a break.

I know you are a Garces hater.  But if you are going to vent then vent towards the parents/administrators that have screwed this up not the kids and coaches.
