"Might" doesn't cut it CUSD...

???

So does CUSD pay better than FUSD or what?

ETKilla

Highly doubt OB would leave CE for any Fresno school.  Bouncing around like that is not the best for future endeavors.  Not too mention its like leaving FSU to coach at City.  With Washington they have a stud for the next 3 years.
Mike Jones.  Who?  Mike Jones.  281-330-8004

Lindsay (D5) - One of the old HCs

Grizz51 learned a lot from you last year. The biggest thing is that I needed some fresh perspective. So I will hand the DC roles this year and Chris Martinez will call the offense for us. It should be very interesting!

Chitown - Chris was too awesome and had a better opportunity at COS. But we did keep all of the stuff he installed and that is what helped us despite me calling plays. My DC ended up Being Ozzy Arroyo a former player of mine who did a great job all year calling the D.

Lol spawn you must have some big shoes if they reach all the way to Washington!

That is correct. He will be back at BHS working as of next week and coaching again for the Drillers. The football players were told about it at the morning workout.

I'm not sure if thats good or bad...he can't handle the stress off winning a playoff game very well so being back at BHS may render him into a catatonic state

I'm sure there were major contract stipulations/rules made with Golla before he came back on staff. 1 being you can not coach from the top of a press box. 2 never come onto the field when in a press box before the game is over. 3 never celebrate until the game is OVER!

This thread has been quiet. Any news out there on the front runners for both Bakersfield jobs, Centennial & Independence? Was just wondering.

Has the Garces Coach filled his staff yet?

The only thing I've heard is that Centennial doesn't have a teaching position on campus but Independence does. McKeowen had strong body classes and study hall. That's pretty attractive to any head coach that wants to focus solely on football. Whereas Centennial almost has to promote from within their staff because I don't see them going with an off campus coach. Most head coaches will tell you the benefits for not walking on but being on the same campus.

TeddyKGB

if the KHSD follows protocol, they will start interviews next month and a head coach will be named at CHS & IHS sometime around mid April/early May.

Not a head coach position, but ex-NFL player Matt Giordano is the new DC at Buchanan
Just my opinion, but my opinion is right

Coach Gutierrez

Rumor has it that Sanger's DC got the Selma gig. Can anyone confirm this or know his name?

biggplay11

Since the interviews start this week I'm going to guess your source is way off.

I heard Matt is not the DC, but he is a DB coach for them.  He is also assisting in track and field right now.
