The coaches have done good with what they have in athletes!
I have seen this young group of players from firebaugh since
were in the pee wees and let me tell you the have come a long
ways!  They have played together like a family ! and yes all from
a town of population of 7200 !


As for what was the score last year !   The hawks are a exceptional team with
a great coaches . May Friday  be a safe game for the hawks and eagles

I saw the film from that game last year when scouting Liberty. They did not "rub it in" It was not Liberty's faut that Firebaugh was unable to stop anyone. Liberty smokes Firebaugh they are on two different levels.

I think both.  Teams like LMR had last year don't come along very often and Firebaugh is much improved.  Of course, playing with 12 guys on defense for the first two LMR offensive series could have been a factor too.  Getting away with playing with 12 on defense for that long is probably something all coaches wish they could get away with at one time or another.  Gotta love those referees that the small schools get.

After talking with one of the coaches in watching the film there was 12 men on defense for a good portion of the first half.  This is not to take away from Firebaugh but they need to clean that up.  LMR has some work to do to keep at the top of their game.  Nolte will have them ready.

That's too funny, so you're implying that the Eagles needed an extra man to hang with the Hawks, hey I was at the game and Liberty didn't roll over the Eagles like everyone expected. It was a great game that really could have gone either way, IMO Firebaugh beat themselves with a costly turnover at the 3 yard line and yes some dumb penalties. I guarantee you the Hawk players were very sore Saturday morning, Eagle defense played very well and are only going to get better. Best of luck to Liberty against Mendota, it will another physical game!

No excuses FalconFan Firebaugh put up a great fight as I understand it.  But it does not change what was saw on film later.  I can be assured that is not what they will focus on in practice this week.  Like I stated Nolte will keep improving this team.
