I recently saw an article about Tim Tebow working out for Major League Baseball teams. I have a story to share about this. When I was in the Rockies organization, before my knee gave out, I was working with the Major League Ball Club one fall. A kid named Tim Tebow had a workout at the facility that I was working out that day. After my monstrous batting practice, the prep prospects took the field. Tebow, who was in high school at the time, put on an UNREAL work out. Tebow would be playing Right Field for the Rockies right now had he stuck with it. I would have loved to be his mentor on the big league level, but my knee wouldn't let me.

I think that if Tebow signs a contract he will be starting on a big league team within 3 months of doing baseball activity. He reminds me of Bryce Harper (less speed, more power). Has a chance to be a "once in a generation" type of player.

Tebow went deep in his first pro at bat today. I said last month that he was "once in a generational" type player. I do not make stuff up.

Correction : MILB level and it was intstructional league, more like high level JC or D III to D1 competition...

All you do is make stuff up. Pretty sure you haven't said one thing that's true since you've been posting on here.

Well...not really. Teams mostly send guys to instructs in whom they have invested a lot of money, so the lower-level "organizational" type players aren't there. They are solid pros.

Well yes really, the guy whom he hit the bomb off of was a 2016 11th rd draft choice for ST Louis out of Vanderbulit, drafted this year basically still a D1 level guy, hardly would consider him a seasoned MLB veteran. There are no MLB players in instruction league of any real numbers. the only MLB guys at all are rehab assignments or guys trying to learn a new position, MLB has only 750 players rostered at the MLB level the rest are considered minor leaguers , Having said that the minors are filled with guys who go back and forth and may be on a teams 40 man roster.

To say it's filled with Pros is somewhat accurate because simply by being drafted they are not amatures any longer . its made up of 16-25 yr olds and not many 16 yr old would be considered pros at this stage of development.

There are two instructional leagues, Florida was the pioneer of the MLB Instructional league and later came the Arizona Instructional league.

I didn't imply it was MLB-level. I was saying it's above JC/D1 level. These are the best of the best from D1. Saying it's that level essentially means that college teams could compete with instructional league teams. That's definitely not the case.
