CW over Liberty-Bako
----- I like Liberty's defense, not high on their O. Good receiver, maybe #23?? Won't be enough. I see this as a defensive game with both offenses struggling early to move it consistently. CW offense will get it going as the game goes on and eventually pull away with a late TD. CW 20, Liberty 10.

Buchanan over Hanford
----- Again, defense will be the story of this one. Reports I've heard is that Hanford's D is carrying the team, despite their highly touted QB. Love the Buchanan D again this year, don't like the O. Good kicker for the Bears puts a couple through. Buchanan 13, Hanford 7.

Bullard over Central
----- Always think Bullard has tougher kids than Central. I give the Knights the edge early in the year because QB is returning. Ground game will be solid as always. Knights wear down Grizzlies. Bullard 24, Central 14

Clovis over Burbank
----- Don't have a good read on this one. I understand that Burbank has some athletes, but being on the road I give Clovis the edge. This Clovis senior class has been uber successful and have been getting hyped up since their sophomore year. Clovis 27, Burbank 20

CN over Sunnyside
----- I'm high on Sunnyside. In division 2, they will never be out-athleted this year. Without injuries or grade problems, the Wildcats are a threat to beat anyone in the section. However, that's all they'll be this week--a threat. Coach Quinn will have the Broncos as tough as ever and they get a win. CN 34, Sunnyside 20

St. Ignatious over CE
----- Not a real read on this one. CE has been down. Marcus Washington is a beast, but I don't think it's enough. Let's go St. Iggy 35, CE 14
