I'm at San Jose City College watching Saint Francis(Mountain View) & Bellarmine Prep(San Jose). St. Francis is 4-0 & ranked 12th in the state. Bellarmine is 3-1 ranked & 16th in the state, their only loss was 16-14 to 7th ranked Del Oro. They beat Clovis North 32-21 in Clovis on 9/2.

Bakersfield 26 Ridgeview 19 7:23 in the 4th. Stupid taunting penalty on the Wolfpack after a Driller drops a touchdown in the endzone to extend the drive.

I thought Fresno Christian was back to 11 man?

3 11-man games this year--
Big Valley Christian of Modesto--Sac Joaquin Section D7 runner up 2015 (lost 20-14)
Laton (won 20-14)
Stoneridge Christian of Merced--Sac Joaquin Section D7 champions 2014 & 2015 (10/28/16)

7 8-man games--still in Central Sierra 8-man League

FC will play in that league next year also but the plan is to play all non-league (or as many as possible) 11 man games.
2018 season will be first year of all 11-man games.

Big question is how the section will align the new leagues and whether FC will be assigned a league or have to play independent and scramble for late season games.

Reality is that in terms of 8-man football, FC is middle of the pack--There are about 15-20 schools in the southern section that are at a higher level of competition than FC (and a handful in the Northern section as well).
