Wow

What a well pitched and well coached high school baseball game last night for the Bears and Eagles. We were lucky to escape The Stan with a 2-1 win. McGrady played well, Olson pitched lights out, proud of the battle but Falco had to be sitting 88 and touching 90 and I fear him in playoffs with something on the line. Great game, if Eagles can take care of business in all the games they should win, this could be a tough TRAC title.

We also had the Clovis North Broncos on the ropes for much of the game last night. This could end up being the best Clovis East team in school history. We just need to get over the hump. I was told it was Haupt's first game back yesterday and he lit us up. Surprised he hasn't garnered Pac12 and SEC interest. This should be a crazy year in the TRAC. I see the winner of the league having at least 2 losses, but probably more like 3.

Every team has one or two shut down guys so the game will be close. Well coached teams with the pitchers ahead right now all the teams will be dangerous come playoff time.

I don't think this team will match that of 08 with Jensen, Kendal, Kuber, Walker, Garcia, Scharnick, Rivera...that team was for real.

That team was a 11-10 loss to Clovis from playing for a valley title.
